Frustrated and looking for low key treatments

Hey, I'm new here! Been doing a little looking here and there for different solutions on and off at different times depending on my level of frustration with my anxiety. The biggest and most annoying issue is the nausea that comes along. I'll be at mom and dads for lunch after which we decide to go snowmobiling. We don't go snowmobiling every day so my stomach goes into flips, because I just ate I really feel like puking. It never happens but it really feels debilitating at times.

Other times I'll be getting ready for work in the mornings, I never eat breakfast within the first couple hours of waking up unless it's mid morning, because then what happens next gets worse. I go through standard morning routine (minus the eating unless it's a nibble) sit on the couch for a while watching tv, get the text that my ride is coming, go get my shoes on and whatever else the weather indicates and as I stand at the door waiting my stomach knots up, most of the time it's negligible, but if I've eaten anything it can get pretty bad. One time I even made my ride pull over so that I could get out and "throw up". I obviously never did.

I've also got my pilots license. I go for a flight which doesn't happen as often as it should so when I go I often get the stomach knot 15-30 minutes before I take off, it's all small aircraft so that's right around the time I show up at the airport or start my pre trip. It is the worst if I've eaten and rarely non existent if I haven't for several hours and it peaks between taxiing and a few minutes after take off. most of the time I have water to sip. All of the time the knot goes away about 15-30 minutes after takeoff. 

The most frustrating scenario is going ANYWHERE with friends. I can hardly eat or drink anything while I'm with them. If I eat before going I can end up with a knot for the entirety of the event. As SOON as I get home (ok within the hour) I can usually make up for lost time so far as food is concerned. 

Noticing a trend? Triggers are food and any scenario that isn't a regular occurrence. Sometimes even daily scenarios don't mean I can go without obstacles. 

I will be going to a doctor end of April to see what they say and likely resuming counseling around that time as well. In the mean time I'm looking for any OTC, herbal, home remedy, or some form of warding it off. I'm at a high point in my frustration again.

    Thanks for sharing! I've had a similar issues and CBT has been really helpful. I try to work on myself in redirecting my thoughts and actions in more productive way and was helpful as I have to confront my fears in constant conversing with investors and clients.
