Cannabis

I just wanted to ask for your expiriences with Cannabis. Do you think it was affecting or even enhancing your mental disorder? Or was it maybe benificial?

I for myself am a Cannabis supporter, though I use it only on rare occasions. It`s pretty much proven that in terms of addiction and physical harm, Cannabis is a lot better than alcohol, and even tobacco, but you often hear that it affects your psyche. I don`t really believe it for myself, but I am really interested in your opinions and experiences.

I used cannabis for years. It started as fun, but it pushed away a lot of worries. Actually I still find it the best antidepressant and anti anxiety remedy available. To me the problem started when I quit and found out how addicting it was. Even benzos alone were not able to deal with the anxiety that came along. I had to quit it because of my lungs. Spacecake wasn't that much of an option because it always hits you by suprise and the ride can be very long. You don't want that during a bad trip.

I have been a daily smoker for 10+ years with occasional time off. I have recently quit due to severe panic attacks accompanying a yet diagnosed medical condition. 2 months sober and I see how addicted I was to it. To this day, I hope that I can get my medical condition under control so that I can enjoy it again. I guess this isn't much of an answer. I guess outside of panic attacks I found it very beneficial for insomnia, social anxiety (usually) lack of appetite due to anxiety, anger issues, stress. However I did notice that it made panic attacks occur more frequently thus killing my buzz and ruining the relaxation aspect of it. I hope this makes sense

If you're worried about your lungs, get a vaporizer. I recently quit marijuana because I began to get panic attacks on it which completely ruined all the benefits I was receiving from the herb. I want to avoid a marijuana and benzo combination cause its just too damn enjoyable and I only want to take valium for ememergencies only.

I myself stay away from it, it increases my anxiety and panic attacks. My brother developed cannabis psychosis, most people will smoke more then he ever did and have no adverse side effects. I remember watching a documentary on it after my brother developed it. My feeling are if it works for you and your not one of the unlucky ones that it could mess up, try it you never know. That thought was what brought me to try it.
